Francesco Guiot - Glitch #1

Notes:

The piece uses the aforementioned overtones to create clicks, pops, and beatings, which are collaged into different polyrythms.

Tuning information:

(couldn't create a Scala) There are four organs in the piece. Each of the organs uses different overtones of the notes instead of the fundamental frequency: Organ 1: 17, 18, 19 Organ 2: 23, 35, 45 Organ 3: 11, 17, 27 Organ 4: 5, 7 Scales are this way altered from 12-tone equal temperament. For example a C Major scale, using the 17th overtone, goes from 262, 294, 330, 349, 392, 440, 494 to 4454, 4998, 5610, 5933, 6664, 7480, 8398. The juxtaposition of many of these different overtones creates microtonal clusters.
