Federico Bonacossa - Diversions - for guitar quartet

Notes:

Diversion is an algorithmic work written for guitar quartet tuned in just intonation, using only open strings and natural harmonics. The scordatura consists of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th partial (in order) of a harmonic series with D2 as a fundamental.

Federico Bonacossa is a guitarist and composer living in Miami, FL. His recent work explores various forms of interaction between live performers and the computer, the relationship between pitch and rhythm, and the transcription of spontaneous vocal gestures with the aid of the computer.
